Game Korps A Historical Gaming Club
Home Page
Just a quick note to officially welcome in our two newest Kompanies in Game Korps.
Hotel Kompanie is based out of Peoria, IL and joined us back in February. These guys are a fantastic group of historical gamers and bring alot of experience and excitement to Game Korps. They have functioned for many years as the Central Illinois D-Day Society, promoting WWII gaming all over the midwest and into the south. We are looking forward to combining our efforts to promote this great hobby of ours. Welcome guys!!!
Item Kompanie is located in Memphis, TN and has just recently joined the ranks of Game Korps. These guys have also been around for a while and once again, have been very active in promoting historical gaming in many forms. Their diverse historical interests make them a fantastic addition to the organization. Welcome to our brothers in the south!!!
So You Want to be a Web Designer???
Well guys... here we are just under a year after we launched the new website. And, as expected, I am the only one who seems to have the time to do the work on the site. Yes me, the guy with 2 jobs and only 2 weekends off for the next 2 months... Makes me wonder how others define "busy"! :)
The bottom line is guys that I need someone (it can be more than 1 person) to step up and volunteer to do some updating of the web site. I don't mind doing some of the work, but I have been saddled with all of it now. And it is just too much for me to do, and do properly.
Once again, I would also like to put out a call for content. Since we launched this site, no one in Game Korps has had any suggestions and/or input as to content. That is a real shame since so many members said that we really needed this venue. Just like anything else in life, you only get out of it what you put into it. Can I get an Amen!?! :)
If anyone is interested in helping with the site, either with content and/or managing it, please contact me and we can talk. Also, I ask once again for input from the individual kompanies. This is YOUR site. Please help make it something we can be proud of.
I Remain Your Most Humble and Obedient Servant,
Dean
